Vacation is on the wind down with only a few days left til’ these two head back to college. I have not had time to do photos of my own kiddos~ but on the coldest day last week we did head out to my favorite spot to see the horses in the snow~ My camera is now in the shop for it’s yearly tune up~….sensor cleaning…so no pics for a few weeks.~ ahhhhh… I am happy to be resting with our foster baby & have no pressure on me about shoots for awhile. (With that said I am back to two edits today….one from before the holiday and one sweet baby belly due any day.)
Back to these two kids…boy have they grown up. I really noticed over this break that I have two adults in the house~ helpful, kind, thoughtful, appreciative of what they have and how hard we work for them to go to college and pay the bills! We had lots of movie nights and chats by the fire~ no trip, nothing extra special but perfect in every way~ just TIME together. I will miss them when they go~ but my laundry room will be happy 🙂 and the trips to the grocery store will go back to normal. Today I made “the meatballs” that everybody loves, my friend Karens recipe handed down from her grandmother, the best thing to make on a cold day, a meal that takes all morning to put together and is simmering as I type…mmmmm, I can smell the garlic and tomatoes~…my kids love to eat together and I derive loads of happiness from watching them eat!
I am truly one lucky momma:)
