The rain finally gave way to some sunshine last weekend and we squeezed in a portrait shoot! Dawn, you look great in these! I am so glad we skipped the muddy park~ thanks to Mary for her keys to the mansion!!
Wedding pictures to come!!!
These are my friends Jaime & Neil and their beautiful children. I cannot say enough about how sweet and wonderful they are…the 4 of them. Nothing like strolling through the park on a gorgeous Spring day!!! We had a great time~ xo thanks guys, Maggie

I think this shoot was a surprise for these two….wasn’t sure at first….but it did not take long for us all to relax and go with the energy that was happening. Trying to capture the love between two people isn’t really difficult if it truly exists…..that’s what happened here. The wedding is in a few weeks~ looking forward to it!
From the moment I saw these two together I felt their happiness. Talk about being smitten! I have known “J” since he was a baby & now he is engaged to this sweetie, “M”, and they are a great match. Young and in love. There is almost nothing better than that. My very best wishes to you both~ xxoo
This is “A”, she has an amazing personality…very personable & smart …she can also do a roundoff backhandspring down my hallway! (good friends with my daughter)….so we decided to do some fun senior pics instead of the old “stand by the tree”, posy stuff. I love to bring out the personality of whomever I am shooting…and the location can really be key.( Back to my favorite spot~ the nursery being torn down by my house .) There are so many opportunities for great shots when you have corrugated tin, wood slats, doorways. Just a tip if you want to take more interesting photos~ don’t be afraid to shoot in places like this…they are everywhere, you just have to keep your eyes open!
I love windows and tend to use them alot for reflections…..I love this shot of ” A” looking thru the glass~
Not far from my home there is a nursery that was recently sold to developers. Sad because my husband and I loved getting plants from this place , walking around the greenhouses & chatting with the older fellow who had owned the place forever! As I was driving by yesterday I pulled in and snapped a few shots of Spring trying to poke it’s way out of the mess, twisted metal, broken glass…they are in demolition mode. Interesting to find a little beauty among the eeire quiet of this great spot that was once full of life. I am sure it will become a neighborhood and then life will come again.
This was one of those days where the light, location & subject took over and my camera went on “auto pilot”….I am not kidding when I tell you that I had goosebumps throughtout this shoot. Not only are these two girls beautiful and incredibly photogenic…they are so much fun to be with! Cannot wait to do it again~ Thanks C & K
There is nothing like a sister~
That was not an easy task…I know less is more but out of 300 plus shots I had a hard time deciding what to post! Hope you enjoy these few~
Darling “P” with her new baby sister “P”…you will be seeing lots of them…family of seven now! Stay tuned~
